Join the Historic Harrisburg Association and the Mary Sachs Charitable Trust for a special exhibit opening and reception to commemorate “The Classic Fashions of ‘Harrisburg’s Merchant Princess’ Mary Sachs!”
With dresses donated – and modeled! – by mid-century Mary Sachs customer Alyce Spector and others, as well as historic memorabilia relating to “Harrisburg’s Retail Royalty.”
This FREE event is being held on Sunday, July 24th from 2PM – 4PM at the Manor on Front B&B. Enjoy light refreshments and live music by the Noah Spangler Quartet, as we take you back in time to see the fashions of the mid-1900s and celebrate the life of not only one of Harrisburg’s most notable fashion entrepreneurs, but a woman who built her brand while also giving back to the community through her kindness and charity.
