Please Join us for an Opening Reception Presenting an all new exhibition

Revisiting the City Beautiful: New Initiatives for a New Century

Capital Region Water, the Harrisburg Parks Foundation and the Historic Harrisburg have teamed up to create this all- new exhibition tracing the historic impact of Harrisburg’s “City Beautiful” Initiatives of the early 20th Century and drawing the connection between these nationally-applauded accomplish-ments and current 21st-century initiatives.See what made Harrisburg a model of urban beautification 100 years ago. Learn about today’s state-of-the-art enhancements to our parks system, streets and our system of fresh water, wastewater and stormwater management. Complimentary refreshments will be served. Brief remarks by leaders of the three presenting organizations at approximately 6 PM.

The exhibit will remain open to the public, free of charge, during normal business hours and for these city-wide cultural events:
