Please Join David Morrison, Historic Harrisburg Association (HHA) and the Friends of the West Shore Theatre (FOTWST) for the opportunity to celebrate the Golden Age of Hollywood in grand style with two of filmdom’s greatest comedies. Mr. Blandings’ (Grant) one and only venture in historic preservation is a string of hilarious mishaps. In “Chickadee,” Fields and West spoof themselves and the western film genre; the screenplay, written by Mae West, is filled with her trademark double entendres.

The complimentary reception will close when the program starts, but the Theatre’s concession stand, with wine, beer, soda, and a variety of theatre snacks, will remain open for business all evening. There is no charge to attend, but patrons are encouraged to make online donations to be shared evenly by HHA and FOTWST. In addition, to enter the 50-50 raffle, also benefitting the two non-profits, please bring cash to purchase tickets. Tips at the concession bar also will benefit both HHA and FOTWST.

There is no charge for General Admissions, but all guests must pre-register. Reserved seating is available as follows: Booth-style Premium Seating for up to four guests per L-shaped booth with low table may be reserved for $40 per booth. Cabaret-style Premiere Seating for two guests, a popular option since the theatre remodeling, may be reserved for $25 per table. Please reply by Wednesday, March 22.
