Landmark Walking Tour: Zembo Shrine, its majestic tower and Italian Lake

The tour will explore the Zembo Shrine, its tower for a breathing view of Uptown Harrisburg, and into rarely seen rooms and backstage spaces of architect Charles Howard Lloyd’s 1929 dazzling Moorish Revival architecture masterpiece. Then continue for a stroll around Italian Lake while learning about the prominent families who built the stately homes on picturesque Parkside Lane.

Meet at the Main North Entrance to the Zembo Shrine, 3rd and Division Streets at 10 AM. Free parking is available along 3rd Street and in the adjacent Zembo.
