Landmark Tour: Harrisburg State Hospital

Facilities and Property Manager, Fuller Runyan guides these FINAL public historical tours through the extensive former Harrisburg State Hospital campus before its closure for redevelopment next year for the new Pennsylvania Joint Laboratory.

Please note that there are 3 tour days taking place on Saturday, October 26th, Saturday, November 9th, and Saturday, November 16th. Each tour day has 2 tours. The 1st has an entry time of 10am and the 2nd has an entry time 12pm.

Please make sure you review your official ticket (and not the automated email that Eventbrite sends for confirmation) as it tells you the correct date, and time your tour starts.

      DATE: Anyone with a 10/26 ticket will NOT be allowed on the 11/9 or 11/16 tours; anyone with 11/9 ticket will NOT be allowed on 10/26 or 11/16; anyone with 11/16 ticket will NOT be allowed on the 10/26 or 11/9 tour.

      TIME: Anyone with 12pm entry time will NOT be allowed on the 1st tour and anyone with 10am entry time will NOT be allowed on the 2nd tour.

There are a limited number of tickets available, so we have limited ticket sales to 4 per order. This decision was made to accommodate as many history and tour enthusiasts as possible. No tickets have been presold to individuals, groups, or members. We thank you for your patience and understanding.

***Requirements for the tour:

– Flat, closed-toed shoes required (no sandals, crocs, heels, or wedged boots)

– Tour Participants will be required to sign a liability waiver. For any tour participants under 18, a parent or guardian must be in attendance in order to sign the waiver on your behalf.

– Tour Participants will be required to show ID to make sure it matches the waiver.

***Tickets:

– $30 – General Admission (General public tickets)

– $25 – HHA members (Individuals or Businesses that are current and up-to-date dues-paying members. All purchases are verified)
