Historic Harrisburg Association advocates for the preservation, restoration and stewardship of Harrisburg’s architectural heritage. HHA promotes economic development that respects our cultural legacy for the benefit of people who live in, work in, and visit Harrisburg.

Historic Harrisburg Association (HHA) provides opportunities for you to get involved in the historic preservation movement. No experience is necessary. HHA helps neighborhoods organize efforts to preserve our architectural history. We work with people who are facing preservation challenges as well as businesses and developers. We help all to recognize the value of historic preservation. We sponsor house tours and educational events, participate in state and local preservation effort, and we hold fun and exciting events for HHA members throughout the year.

New federal courthouse to be built at Sixth and Reily streets
The new federal courthouse will be built at Sixth and Reily streets in Midtown Harrisburg. This is a win for Right Site Harrisburg, Historic Harrisburg Association and the entire Harrisburg community. HHA is a founding member of Right Site Harrisburg and has for years advocated for this site. A courthouse at Sixth and Reily streets will spur further economic development already happening in the area. We are proud to be a part of the effort to have the courthouse put at this location, and we will continue to work with the community and elected officials to promote economic development that respects the architectural integrity of the city.
