Join us for entertaining preservation events and programs

We have numerous events throughout the year. Some of them are listed below. We encourage you to attend each one. We also welcome volunteers to help us plan and run each event. HHA volunteers enjoy promoting their neighborhoods and giving back to their community. It's contageous.

Upcoming events

• Historic Harrisburg Happy Hour, June 21, 2010, 5:30-7:30 p.m. Stocks on Second, 211 N. 2nd Street, Harrisburg.
  
• Pillar Party, July. Date and time to be determined. This is annual event is open to members who contribute at the Pillar level or above.
  
• Historic Harrisburg Happpy Hour, Aug. 23, 2010, Cafe Fresco, 215 N. 2nd Street, Harrisburg.
  
• Elegant Progressions, Dec. 3-4, 2010. Our annual fundraiser is a cooperative project with the Kidney Foundation of Central Pennsylvania. It is acknowledged as one of the most effective and well-run fundraisers in the area. This black-tie progressive dinner in beautiful unique homes has become a traditional holiday celebration in the greater Harrisburg area.
  
• Candlelight House Tour, Dec. 12, 2010. We are now planning the 38th annual Candlelight House Tour and welcome volunteers to help plan the event and interested homeowners. Please contact us at 717-233-4646 or info@historicharrisburg.org. With 2010 being Harrisburg's 150th anniversary, we are working extra hard to provide tour attendees a special event.
